Too many entrepreneurs put their heads down and stop learning as they get close to starting their businesses.   When they make a mental decision to “go for it”  they convince themselves that the time for learning is over and now it’s time for doing.   They start spending lots of money thinking that’s progress.  That can get you into some trouble.   So, being here really speaks well of you and the way you are approaching your decision about starting a busienss.  Keep learning, every day no matter where you are in your business.

This program is certainly intended to be very encouraging.  But at the same time, we’re going to be very frank about things. We’re here to help you to go into your new venture with your eyes wide open, having done all of the things that you should to do, before you start your company.

So if you hear some things today that indicate you have more work to do, don’t be discouraged. You should be encouraged that you have identified what those things are, and you know their importance.  The goal of this portion of our podcast is to leave you better prepared to be successful when you start your new business.
